Privacy policy
How Psyn Studio collects, uses and protects the information you share through this website.
Last updated: October 29, 2026
1. Who we are
This website is run by Psyn Studio ("Psyn", "we", "us"), a Canada-based content agency for psychologists, therapists and counsellors, with offices at 101-33886 Pine St., Abbotsford, BC V2S 0N9, Canada, and 1000 Main Street, Suite 2300, Houston, Texas 77002, United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect:
- your full name, phone number and email address (required)
- your business name (optional)
- the message you write
Please don't include information about your clients or anyone's health in the form. We don't need it to reply, and the form isn't designed to handle it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting server records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time. To protect the form from spam, we also briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent in a short time, and a hidden field records how long the form took to fill in.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
3. How we use your information
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange a strategy call you asked for
- to keep records of our conversations if you become a client
- to keep the website secure and protect the form from abuse
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and receive your messages:
- Web Hosting Canada (WHC) hosts this website and sends the contents of the contact form to our inbox. Their servers are located in Canada.
- Google (Gmail) provides the email inbox where your enquiry is delivered and stored.
Our "Get directions" link opens Google Maps. Google receives information only if you choose to click it. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and for no more than 24 months after our last contact unless you become a client. Hashed IP addresses used for spam protection are deleted automatically after one hour. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule.
6. Where it's stored
Your information is stored on servers in Canada (our host) and on Google's servers, which may be located in the United States or elsewhere. Wherever it is stored, we protect it as described in this policy.
7. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct information that's wrong or incomplete
- delete your information, unless we must keep it by law
- stop using your information for a particular purpose
Depending on where you live, laws such as Canada's PIPEDA, US state privacy laws or the EU and UK GDPR may give you further rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. We aim to respond to requests within 30 days.
8. How to contact us about privacy
Send us a message through our contact form and mention "privacy" in your message, or write to us at:

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people who need to reply to your enquiry can read it. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so please share only what's needed to start a conversation.
10. Children
This website is meant for professionals and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
